Blue Man Group

While in Chicago during my spring break, I went to see the Blue Man Group. The experience was, for lack of a better word, exciting. In the beginning, the three blue men (they also covered up their ears with some tight material and painted that blue too) were on the drums in the back of the stage and were beating on them while one or two of them paused to add more paint, yes, paint. Paint played a very big role in the whole performance. Thinking back, I probably saw 6 or 7 new ways to use paint. Also, through out the entire performance, the blue men pulled people from the audience to do certain tricks or mini-skits with them. At the end of the performance, the blue men came up to the very back of the stage and revealed about 2o or so rolls of toilet paper and we all pulled it over our heads and passed it on. The whole ordeal looked like a slow wave of white covering the audience. They also put on a black light display, making the toilet paper look fluorescent. I would highly recommend this show to anyone. Just be sure to bring a lot of energy.
