Nook: The Book of The Future

Hello readers. The Nook, by Barnes and Noble, is a revolutionary eReader that is reshaping the way we buy and read books. As an owner, it has been wonderful and even gets updates from time to time. The Nook is also the medium through which I purchase my books. It has an online store, much like the itunes store for apple ipods. The small touch screen is perfect for its size and the main screen looks exactly like a real paper page. It is truly amazing and, did I mention, is better than the Kindle. I know I might have just made a few enemies, but come on, no one wants a huge keyboard right where they're reading. Its ridiculous! Anyway, I hope I inspired some of you to check it out; its worth it.

I Recommend Maximum Ride

Hello readers. To those of you out there who have a craving for a good, long series of books, look no further. Now, Maximum Ride is very popular anyhow, so most of you have probably read a book or two and even more have probably at least heard of it. Well, for those of you who haven't, I recommend it because it is action-packed, has great climax points, and carries more suspense than other books like it that I've read. There are six books so far in the series and the newest release is Fang: A Maximum Ride Novel. I finished them all and still want more, happy reading.

The iPad Review

At first glance, you might think this product is simply an over sized ipod. Well, it's much, much more than that. The iPad, announced on January 27, has many different capabilities. Many people that I've talked to who own the iPad love it and say the superior screen's great for watching movies. For those of you that own an ipod touch or iphone, you've probably heard about the Doodle Jump app. Well the iPad plays apps as well and Doodle Jump was amazing just on the ipod touch, it was outstanding on the iPad. Many people have said that tablets and related products just aren't destined to be used effectively. I, unfortunately, don't have one and so I can exactly extend this review much further. So I will end with saying that if you've got the money, its worth every dime.

AD$EN$E: it doesn't make sense

Well, I've just submitted a form for the online thing called Ad Sense. I am writing Ad Sense like this because it says it is spelled wrong and then I spell check it and it says "no spelling errors" and it is still red. I would write it correctly except I feel paranoid that I'm breaking the extensive "contract" I have with Ad Sense and I tried to find the article that talked about advertising clicking on Ad Sense things on the bottom of the page. All I can say is that I would appreciate your clicking but don't feel obliged to do so. Anyway, back to saying that Ad Sense is completely complicated and while I tried to log my regular account onto it, it wouldn't let me and said "Another user already gas this account." Well no duh! I eventually created a new email account and tried that and it worked. But now I have two separate email accounts that are merged together because my original email is hooked up to this blog and the Ad Sense is hooked up to my new account while also being hooked up to this blog too because that is the way I make money: by you faithful readers occasionally clicking on an unsuspecting ad and dropping 10 cents into the bucket. Well, it's just a complicated mess that I hope will work out

New way to blog

Hello readers. I have just discovered mobile posts on my phone to my blog so I can blog from my phone! Although, I have to actually log on to my account and add a title to the post. The good thing is that I can write down and post from places where something exciting is happening. Like from a soccer game or from a boat (maybe the "worlds biggest fish" blog post is coming soon). But, I probably won't be using this a lot.

Blue Man Group

While in Chicago during my spring break, I went to see the Blue Man Group. The experience was, for lack of a better word, exciting. In the beginning, the three blue men (they also covered up their ears with some tight material and painted that blue too) were on the drums in the back of the stage and were beating on them while one or two of them paused to add more paint, yes, paint. Paint played a very big role in the whole performance. Thinking back, I probably saw 6 or 7 new ways to use paint. Also, through out the entire performance, the blue men pulled people from the audience to do certain tricks or mini-skits with them. At the end of the performance, the blue men came up to the very back of the stage and revealed about 2o or so rolls of toilet paper and we all pulled it over our heads and passed it on. The whole ordeal looked like a slow wave of white covering the audience. They also put on a black light display, making the toilet paper look fluorescent. I would highly recommend this show to anyone. Just be sure to bring a lot of energy.

Hello readers

Hello. If you've read my profile (to the right), you already know a little about me. Another thing you should know is that I suck at keeping my blogs updated. This will be my 3rd attempt at a successful blog. And don't go around looking for my previous failures because I already deleted them. Ha. Ha. Ha. Anyway, I'm trying a new tactic. Instead of telling everyone from the start, "Hey, go check out my new blog", I'm going to just shut my mouth, write a lot, and let it catch on. So for many of you readers, you'll be reading this and thinking, "Wow, this time stamp sure is old".
